Explorer Program
In conjunction with the Boy Scouts of America, the Explorer Program is designed for young adults aged 14 and higher that are interested in law enforcement as a career or have a strong interest in public safety. This program is part of a continuing effort to support community policing.
The police explorers are part of a paramilitary organization and are trained on a weekly basis in basic police science, first aid, criminal law, accident investigation, self defense, firearms training and general life skills.
